Interreligious Engagement Studies at Union

The field of Interreligious Engagement emphasizes cultivating an understanding of religious diversity, central questions and concerns about religious diversity, and prominent approaches to interreligious engagement. Courses within the field explore multiple religious participation/double belonging and its implications
for theology. Examining how cultural and political conditions have impacted interreligious contexts and how they have affected the cultural and political realities, in turn, is also a point of interest within the Interreligious Engagement field.
